In keeping with the eco-conscious theme of last night’s Oscars ceremony - many stars embraced Livia Firth’s green carpet challenge and Leonardo Di’Caprio’s winner’s speech addressed climate change - Liberty Ross decided to re-wear her wedding dress to the Vanity Fair party.
It was just two weeks ago that Ross wed billionaire music mogul Jimmy Iovine in the cream silk gown with sweeping stripes and double strap neckline. 37-year-old Ross and 62-year-old Iovine invited close friends to an intimate ceremony at their Malibu home on the evening of February 13.
The newlyweds were pictured barefoot at the beach, where Ross threw a garland into the Pacific Ocean and a skywriting plane endeavoured to pen their initials in the sky, except the result was ‘J heart M’ instead of ‘J heart L’.
Two weeks on, it’s clear to see that Ross is still enjoying that newlywed glow. Iovine, who normally practices a casual signature style, also dressed up for the occasion, but eschewed black tie accessories in favour of an open white shirt and monochrome trainers. As the co-founder of Interscope Records and Beats Electronics, it’s fair to say the mogul is more ‘street’ than a natural on the red carpet.
Ross, then, enjoyed the limelight for the both of them, and was lavished with the Hollywood attention that the private beach-side reception did not afford.
